Waffles with Chicken and Spinach

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Oakrun Farm Bakery waffles
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) of condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 1 package (10 ounces) of frozen chopped spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1-1/2 cups of shredded, cooked chicken
  • 1 cup of shredded swiss cheese

DIRECTIONS

Step 1: In a small saucepan, combine soup, spinach, 1/2 cup milk and chicken, and garlic.Cook over medium a heat for 5-7 minutes or until heated through. Stir occasionally.
Step 2: If desired, stir in additional milk for a thinner consistency. Remove from heat; cover to keep warm.
Step 3: Toast the waffles. Spoon the chicken & spinach mixture over each waffle and sprinkle with cheese. Serve warm.
